The different of Conch Basic and Conch Advance is:

Conch Basic is a Economy Version of Conch Advance, it come with a simper controller ( adjustable power and timing). Conch Basic controller can only support 1 unit of pump. So we can keep our price low with the customer that did not need any additional function.

The Conch Wavemaker, as it is called, is a simple system that includes several models of pumps and controllers. The entry level setup is the Conch Basic, which consists of a single controllable pump and a simple controller that allows users to adjust both the power and frequency of the pulse. This basic setup comes in three models that includes the Conch 10 (adjustable flow from 500 ~ 6000 LpH), the Conch 40 (adjustable flow from 500 ~ 15000 LpH), and the Conch 60 (adjustable flow from 2000 ~ 30000 LpH). Additionally, each of the pumps is outfitted with a magnet mount to secure it to the tank.

Note: If u need to support more the 1 pump, we r selling the mark II controller for Conch Basic, it can support up to 4 pumps.

Conch Expert come with a full function controller, it will be very similar with Mark II controller (with a display screen and smaller in size)

To target the hobbyists who need more than one controllable pump, the crew at Chill-down also has their Conch Expert line, which includes all of the same pumps listed above, but a more advanced controller than can handle up to four pumps. The Conch Expert controller also have more functions, allowing users to run their pumps in and out of sync, randomize the pumps, turn off the pumps during feeding time, and display functions on a built-in LCD screen. The Conch Basic system released to the masses in March, while the Expert line won’t hit shelves until June.

The Conch Wavemaker system has recently been updated with two flavors based on your budget — a Conch Basic economy version and the more robust Conch Advance version. Designed and marketed by Singapore’s Chill-down Trading and Services, the Conch Wavemaker system is your basic wide-flow propeller pump and controller system.

While this is not a new product on the market, the Conch Wavemaker system has developed from other versions. In March, the entry-level Conch Basic was released as an economical version of the Conch Expert system. The Conch Basic comes with a simple controller allowing you to adjust the power and frequency of the pump’s pulse. The Conch Basic line comes in three sizes with the Conch 10 allowing for flow adjustments betweetn 500-6,000 l/hr, the Conch 40 that adjusts from 500-15,000 l/hr and the Conch 60 that adjusts between 2,000-30,000 l/hr.

If you need more control and pumps for your set up, the Conch Advance combines a full function controller similar to the company’s previous Mark II controller. Each controller in the Conch Advance line will handle up to four pumps, has an LCD screen and gives you a plethora of functions — run pumps in and out of sync, random pump flow, turn off the pumps during feeding time, and more. The sizes and flow rates are the same as the basic version with the Conch 10, Conch 40 and Conch 60.

Both the Conch Basic and Expert lines are low voltage running on 24VDC and include a magnetic mount to attach the pump to the aquarium. The expert line should be hitting the shelves in June.

The Conch Basic pumps are running S$249 ($195 USD) for the Conch 10, S$269 ($210 USD) for the Conch 40 and S$299 ($235 USD) for the Conch 60 and will get you the pump and basic controller. The Conch Advance pumps are running S$365 ($298 USD) for the Conch 10, S$388 ($317 USD) for the Conch 40 and S$422 ($345 USD) for the Conch 60 and will get you the pump and more robust controller. Hopefully individual pumps without controllers are available to be able to build a custom setup without the need to run multiple controllers.
